Chapter Nine

Theo was vaguely aware that the rain was increasing in speed, creating a dull roar as the droplets drummed onto every surface they could reach.

The wind picked up, too, forcing the rain at an angle into their so-called shelter, making them wetter by the second.

None of that really made an impact, though. It was background noise—literally—to what was happening between him and Eddie. The other man’s reaction to his sudden movement had been wholly favourable, and the outside world had dissolved away as they became wrapped up in each other.

The coarseness of Eddie’s ginger hair against Theo’s fingers was in direct contrast with his lips, which were surprisingly soft and supple. And boy, did he know what to do with them. Theo had no idea what Eddie’s previous experience was, if any, but he was a mighty fine kisser.

Kissing, passionately kissing in a poor shelter in the howling wind and driving rain felt somehow primal. That and the fact they were in public—though he doubted anyone in their right mind would be out in this weather, and if they were, they’d be sheltering, too—made the situation even more thrilling, exciting. Arousing. It propelled him on, his hormones surging wildly, and he poured all of those emotions into what he was doing. Their mouths clashed bruisingly, sending jolts of pain zinging through Theo’s body. But they paled in comparison to all the other delicious sensations. They were heady, addictive, and he wanted more. So much more.

Only a lingering sense of propriety—albeit very small—and the presence of Blossom prevented him from dropping to his knees right there in the puddles and the dirt, taking out Eddie’s cock and sucking it until he tasted cum.

With a strength he never knew he possessed, he tore himself away from Eddie, leaving them both swollen-lipped and gasping.

“Shiiit,” Theo said, running his hands through his hair, which was now sodden and plastered to his head, “that was—”

“Amazing? Incredible? Arousing? Erotic? Unexpected?” Eddie supplied, a wide grin on his handsome face. His dimples were as deep as Theo had ever seen them.

Returning the gesture, he said, “All of the above. And a load more wonderfully positive words which escape me right now, as the blood that usually powers my brain seems to have gone elsewhere.”

Reaching down, Eddie gingerly pressed his hand to his crotch and quickly rearranged himself.
